The 2011-12 Interclub Shoot

The annual interclub shoot is underway and as such there are some changes to the regular shooting schedule. Sunday, October 16th is our club’s day to host the event and the shotgun range will be reserved for the interclub shooters only for the whole day. Our club’s makeup days are October 9th and 23rd, and the shotgun range will be reserved for the event between 10 AM and 1 PM. The range will be available to non-participants after 1 PM.

Just had the last shoot for the interclub and it’s been an interesting and fun challenge. Different clubs had different throwers which made the event fairly challenging and evened out the playing field so us newbies had fun as well. Got to see other clubs ranges and the facilities they have, and most important meet new people who share the common interest. I shot in the rain, the cold, and in snowfall, and when it got bad I just made fun of it. Everyone had fun. The prizes at the final were great and plentiful.Another part was to get out and enjoy the time outdoors.
I’m pretty sure I’ll do it again.

I’ll second that John. The weather was dicey a few times, but that was my out for not shooting well.Great times were had with great people.
